Justine Larbalestier
Die australische Autorin Justine Larbalestier wurde in Sydney geboren und ist auch dort aufgewachsen. Mit ihren Eltern, zwei Anthropologen, wohnte sie mehrfach für einige Zeit in anderen Gegenden Australiens, u.a. bei den Aborigines. Seit 2001 ist sie mit dem amerikanischen Schriftsteller Scott Westerfeld verheiratet und lebt seitdem abwechselnd in Sydney und New York City.
